A classic, timeless boot. Originally created in the 1950s, the Desert Boot was inspired by a boot style worn by army officers in Cairo - which used a crepe outsole for traction, flexibility, and ease when walking in sand. Decades later, the Desert Boot is as popular and versatile as ever, and can be worn with many different styles of clothing. Wear them with shorts and your favorite patterned socks, or cuff your jeans or chinos twice to show them off.

Fit & Feel:
The Desert Boot is a simple, classic boot and its structure reflects that fact. The leather footbed is flat and firm, but molds to your feet with wear. Beeswax leather makes this boot durable, supple, and less prone to water damage. The leather uppers may feel a little stiff at first, but wear and soften nicely with over time. The crepe outsole is light and flexible, absorbing impact with every step. Your toes should not be touching the front of the shoe. Your heel should not lift out when you walk.
